Turning to the easel compositions of Andrei Mishin, it should be noted that here, just as in the series of medals, it is possible to single out sculptural series or cycles (“Myth”, “Inverted World”, “People and Ships”). And this division is more appropriate to carry out not according to the plot or iconographic principle, but, to a greater extent, in terms of the approach to solving plastic problems, on which, ultimately, the interpretation of the content of the work depends.
