«The work of medalist sculptor begins with addressing the text. The book consists of the sentences made of words. Words turn into the sacred text and image. One has to hear from the inside and see the image dispersed in the text, through the voicing of the bible verse. The sculpture is the graphic sign imprinting figures of speech. The author’s cast medal represents the concentrated image, in which the shape is embodied through the line of the drawing in composition volume. The scene iconography in a format of a medal transfers the situation in gestures of characters — the prolonged action in a relative completion.»
